Pricing

Pay for what you audit. Nothing more.

One credit covers one small audit. Bigger files cost more credits — usage tracks the actual compute your file needs. Pick a monthly plan if you audit regularly, or buy a one-off credit pack when you don't.

Rough math, same on every tier: N credits ≈ N small audits. 100 credits ≈ 100 audits, 1,000 credits ≈ 1,000 audits — you do the math. Files larger than 5 MB cost more (see the table below the tiers).

How credits work

One credit per small audit. Bigger files cost more.

Credit cost scales with file size because bigger workbooks take more compute to parse, compare, and annotate. No hidden multipliers — what you see below is what every tool charges, regardless of which tool you run.

File sizeCredits per auditTypical workbook
≤ 5 MB1 creditMost monthly P&L / cap table / forecast files
5 – 25 MB3 creditsMulti-sheet financial models, ops trackers
25 – 50 MB8 creditsHeavy data dumps, valuation models with embedded charts

Compare Workbooks counts as two audits because it parses two files (one credit charge per file, per the table above). Every other tool charges once per run.

How it works

Three steps from suspicious file to clean handover.

  1. 1

    Upload your file

Drag and drop an .xlsx, .xlsm, or .csv. Up to 50 MB. Your original is uploaded once, stored encrypted, and never overwritten.

  2. 2

    Review findings

See every issue with its cell address, an AI-grounded explanation of why it matters, and a recommended fix. Accept what you trust, reject false positives, type your own value when you know better.

  3. 3

    Download a corrected copy

Get a new workbook with your accepted changes applied. Optional add-ons: cell comments on every finding, severity highlights, and a Change Report sheet with clickable cell links.

Why SaferSheets

Built for finance, ops, and analytics teams who can't afford a silent rounding bug.

Your file is never modified

Every fix is applied to a copy. The original sits untouched in storage so you can compare and back out at any time.

Per-finding review

No opaque 'auto-fix everything'. Every change is shown with a preview of the surrounding cells before you accept it.

Explanations grounded in your file

AI commentary is generated from the structured scan output — never from raw cell contents. So no hallucinated columns and no guessed values.

Annotated downloads

Cell comments on each finding, severity-coloured highlights, and a Change Report sheet whose row links jump straight to the cell. Hand it to a reviewer.

FAQ

Common questions.

Will SaferSheets modify my original file?+

No. Every tool reads your file, produces a corrected copy as a new .xlsx, and leaves the original untouched. You always have a clean rollback point.

What file types do you support?+

.xlsx, .xlsm, and .csv up to 50 MB. Google Sheets support is on the roadmap — for now, export to .xlsx and upload that.

Is my data secure?+

Files are uploaded over TLS, stored encrypted at rest, isolated per user account, and only readable by you. You can erase any run from history with one click — it cascades through scans, findings, and storage objects.

What's the difference between Pre-Send Audit and Formula Doctor?+

Pre-Send Audit is a broad health check — score, issue counts, action plan. Formula Doctor goes deeper on formulas: it finds broken or risky ones, proposes a fix for each, and produces a corrected workbook once you've reviewed the changes.

How is this different from Excel's built-in error checking?+

Excel flags syntax errors and circular references. SaferSheets flags the things Excel can't see: typed values overriding a formula column, percent columns mixing 5 and 0.05, sibling sheets whose template drifted, charts secretly linked to other workbooks, and many more.

What does it cost?+

Pricing is credit-based. One credit covers a small (≤5 MB) audit; bigger files cost 3 or 8 credits per audit (see the table in the Pricing section). Free, Pro, and Pro Plus tiers come with a monthly credit allowance, or you can buy a $9 / 50-credit pack as a one-off top-up.
